Community Sponsorships

Partnering for a More Vibrant Brownsville

BCIC is accepting sponsorship requests for events, programs, and initiatives taking place between October 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027. Through its sponsorship program, BCIC supports experiences that celebrate Brownsville, activate our community assets, promote health and wellness, attract visitors, and create lasting benefits for residents and local businesses.

What We Support

Sponsorship requests should align with BCIC’s 2025–2029 Strategic Plan and advance one or more of the following priorities:

  • Arts, cultural, heritage, and entertainment experiences that celebrate Brownsville’s identity
  • Health, wellness, and active-living initiatives that encourage community participation
  • Outdoor recreation and sporting events for residents and visitors
  • Events that activate parks, trails, resacas, sports facilities, Downtown Brownsville, and other public spaces
  • Family-friendly experiences that strengthen community connections and enhance quality of life
  • Signature events that attract participants and visitors from outside Brownsville
  • Initiatives that increase activity for local businesses, restaurants, hotels, attractions, and cultural destinations
  • Collaborative efforts that build community pride and showcase Brownsville as a place to visit, experience, and enjoy

Priority consideration will be given to initiatives that demonstrate meaningful community impact, attract strong attendance from Brownsville and beyond, activate community assets, generate economic activity, and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors.
